- Listen to music that can motivate you to continue running.
- Divide your running routine into sections with different lengths and speed. You may want to avoid long runs using the same speed and intensity. Remember, having the “same food” everyday will burn you out.
- Invite a friend to running “with” you on the closest treadmill. Aside from having someone to chat with, you can share different ideas on running treadmills.
- Admit it, you want to see your form ever now and, especially if you’re working out. You ant to see the results immediately. To help you keep an eye with your form, run in front of the mirror.
- Alter the incline and speed settings regularly to better replicate outdoors run and to break up the run mentally.
Also, if you have a treadmill at home, put encouraging posters or pictures nearby. This hopefully helps you keep on going for that desired shape and weight. Just do something so that you’re not always gawking at the wall! Remember, while treadmills can help us burn calories, we are the ones who can help ourselves continue running on treadmills.
