One of my new year’s resolutions is to focus on my creative side and develop those skills through practise. I have a keen interest in tattoos and body art! I decided that a good start would be to purchase an airbrush and practice developing my skills safely on my friends and myself, without the permanent results of tattooing and potential of blood poisoning.

I bought myself an airbrush, complete with an airbrush compressor, art colours and various stencil designs to get me started. The stencils were all standard tattoo designs. My plan was to start of practising with these and then create my very own stencils for my custom tattoo designs that i have been sketching. It is a good way to gain exposure for your designs and also make some side money.

As I opened up the airbrush I was rather impressed with the design. It looked rather professional with its sleek dimensions and chrome looking finish. I also felt very comfortable in my hand. Before I got started on my sisters new body art design, I had a look through the various body art stencils. I thought that I would start with a simple shape and practise my colour blending. I chose the rose design stencil. As for inks, I would do a red, green and black combination.

I plugged in the compressor and connected up the hose to the iwata-airbrush I had bought from GraphicAir.co.uk. The airbrush is operated by a compressor. It compresses air and forces it up the hose and into the airbrush, where it sprays out a fine jet of ink onto your skin.

I cleaned the area where the design was to be applied, then wiped it with an alcohol swab. Next I peeled away the backing of the stencil and carefully placed the stencil on her arm, ensuring that it was straight and in the correct position. From there you simply start spraying and blend the colours as you please. It started off with the red and green and used the black ink to add a shadowing effect to the rose. I was rather impressed with my artistic creation. Once the ink has dried I put on some setting powder and it was done. the tattoo should last between two and five days and special care should be taken to avoid as much contact with water when showering.

My sister was very happy with her new rose tattoo. Having successfully finished my first design I’m looking forward to making my custom stencils like this one on the Graphic Air Website.

Medigap insurance is provided by State licensed private medical insurance companies, to assist the elderly who depend on Medicare with full cover against the rising costs of health care provision, even the excess normally payable under Medicare schemes. The cover is not for such things as dental care, or prescriptions. It is designed for people, who rely on Medicare, and what it does cover is the excess which has to be paid on claims under the Medicare scheme, so that the whole cost of basic health care is insured under the combination of Medicare and Medigap. It is not intended to cover items which are by no means luxuries, but which do not form part of Medicare cover. It provides important benefits as a supplementary insurance for those who have to depend on Medicare, so that they do not have to pay out substantial excess amounts in the event of illness. Though provided privately, Medigap policies are highly regulated.

The policies come in various categories, each of which is obliged to offer identical items of cover as all others in that same category which are provided by different insurers. The cost of the policies may differ, but in every other respect, they should be the same, and this means that the customer should be able to understand what is and is not on offer here. Thus it is less likely people will buy an unsuitable policy. This is of course particularly important for Medicare beneficiaries, who are likely to have less spare cash than the average US citizen. It is a very important decision for such people to decide which gap insurance policy to go for. It is essential that the policy should be affordable, and the basic policies offer good value. A great advantage of these policies is that the insurer is not allowed to refuse cover in subsequent years once a person has been accepted onto the scheme, on the grounds for example that their health has deteriorated. So the insured has this added benefit of security in future years, and this is a good reason for taking out such policies sooner rather than later.

I used to think that the idea of doing a detox was out of proportion and that clearing the body out should always happen naturally. Because of the concept that the liver has the capability of naturally cleansing itself, I would think… why do I need to do a detox for the liver on top of it?

Until I saw a good friend do a liver detox. Flushing out his liver changed everything from weight loss to mood. So, from my research, I learned that cleaning out the liver every once in a while is probably a good thing.

In general, the liver is in charge of taking specific, digested nutrients from the stomach and sending it into the bloodstream. The stomach is what digests the food and sends it to different areas of the body. The nutrients that go to the liver are then filtered again and divided into the bloodstream according to what the body needs. It is also in charge of holding and distributing water. Generally, the liver works as a filter system and determines what the body needs and doesn’t need. If the body needs it, into the bloodstream it goes. If it doesn’t need it, than the water is sent to the gall bladder.

With this specific set of tasks with the liver is the idea that you really don’t want a clogged filter for the nutrient and water distribution.

To my surprise, I found that it is somewhat simple for the liver to become clogged. When this happens, conditions that may spell trouble especially if you don’t have a life insurance plan may develop. At first, you may experience autointoxication because of improper digestion and excretion. If there are extra toxins or things that the body doesn’t need, it can get stuck in the liver because it doesn’t know how to distribute it to the right area. Specifically, it’s been found that sugars, white flour, soda, hormone enhanced meat and dairy and deep fried foods lead to liver toxins in the body. The problem is that eventually, the toxins and the extras don’t move to the gall bladder, but instead, begin cycling through the blood stream with no place to go. The result of this includes weight gain, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and other off balances with the body.

If you want to try a liver cleanse, you can find several natural substances that can help. One of the well known options is known as metabolics and includes natural substances that can clear out the system. Herbal remedies are also combined in a mixture to help perform a filter cleansing of your liver. Juice fasting, fasting on only vegetables and drinking water only for 48 hours can also all help to flush out the system.

With these options in mind, you can easily keep the liver cleansed out so it can continue to distribute the nutrients to the blood stream and water to the gall bladder. The result will be better functioning of your entire system, and complete changes to your body that can provide you with better, natural health.
